We have many new yarns in the shop!!! Just in Spring/Summer yarns from Kraemer. A DK weight in washer & dryer safe cotton/acrylic and a sock yarn in cotton/acrylic/nylon that is also washer & dryer safe. All in wonderful summer colors!

We have decided to start doing more of our own dyeing. We have picked a 50% silk/50% wool blend and a superwash merino/bamboo sock yarn to start with. We expect to be getting our order soon and getting busy dyeing.

The Jojoland yarns are living up to our expectations; we are stocking five of their yarns; laceweight Harmony, fingering weight superwash Melody, fingering weight Melody 100% wool, worsted weight Rhythm, and a scrumptous 2-ply cashmere that is surprisingly affordable. Our wonderful friend and beginning knitting teacher, Wendy has finished the Airy Shawl in the laceweight Harmony. You have to see this piece to appreciate it. A definite heirloom; thanks so much Wendy!

We have a nice selection of products from Ashford in New Zealand. We have a DT Traditional wheel,a Joy and now a double drive Traveler in the shop. Also available; drum carders, hand cards, niddy noddys, ball winders, swifts, and more. We have a very slightly used drum carder in the shop on sale.

Remember our 'First Wednesday of the month' SPIN-IN/KNIT-IN nights from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Bring your wheels, drop spindles, knitting, needlefelting, fiber prep, or whatever, and join the fun! Our next SPIN-IN/KNIT-IN is September 3rd.

Summer finds us enjoying our critters, especially the spring crias, and starting to get llamas ready for a Labor Day weekend show in Northhampton, Massachusetts.
